Filming for a show is a lot harder to do than it looks. Its not as simple as “Film this, throw it together, and there you go! Presto!” Production of the first episode of a future series was plagued with problems from the get go. Many things happened that almost seemed to suggest that getting this off the ground would not be a good idea, but I persevered, and we finally got the first episode done. (continue reading…)
Filming Projects 2010/2011

Looking ahead, I have a few projects in my mind that I have been mulling over and wanting to get made. These are things that I have been thinking over and over and everytime, I get excited at the possibility of making such a project. The problems that arise, however, seem to be the same as usual: inability to sit still long enough to write down the script, and possibly considering how/who is going to play the needed parts to make this come to life. After the last show this past Anime Expo 2010, we looked back at what we could do to improve on the format, but started to come up short. Things did not progress as smoothly as we had hoped, and some segments fell short due to some concerns about timing and execution. Videos from ACC 2010

I am in the process of transferring the videos from their tape format to a more digital format (since it already is digital…) so I can do some quick edits. For the most part, the audio quality on some is very good considering the convention helped out and lent me a feed from their microphones/PA system. I give them lots of thanks for their assistance and I hope you all enjoy these High Definition recordings of the most popular panels at this new convention!
